A crossroads of valorization for local SMEs

CREDDO highlights its support for the imminent launch of a new type of online directory dedicated to promoting Outaouais businesses that are investing in sustainable development (SD).

The directory, which is an initiative of G4G Outaouais, is much more than a simple list of businesses, opportunities, promotions, in short everything that normally motivates citizens to consult a business directory. G4G innovates by presenting a crossroads of valorization: a necessary tool to identify and concretely encourage responsible local businesses. “Thanks to this reference tool, consumers will be able to make informed decisions and support local initiatives that contribute to a socio-ecological shift towards a more sustainable future and a better world that is within reach,” says Josée Lusignan, president and co-founder of Good4.Global / G4G Outaouais.

The directory will be accessible online from summer 2024 via the website (outaouais.good4.global). Users will be able to search for companies by sector of activity, by location, or by SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) on which they act. In addition to promoting its products/services and obtaining consumer evaluations on the customer experience, each company included in the directory will present a sheet on its commitments to eco-responsibility and social responsibility, as well as the main points of its current action plan.

By launching this directory and valorization hub, G4G Outaouais demonstrates its commitment to the ecological and social transition and a prosperity model based on the circular economy. This project is part of a global approach aimed at promoting the power of collaboration (SDG #17) and mobilizing the population and local stakeholders around priority issues for the Outaouais region.
